Teach your team how you want them to shake hands with your customers. It’s going to set them up for success, regardless of what they will be selling.
How they present themselves is very important:
Annunciate their name, look them in the eye, and use a firm handshake
If you shake hands with a firm handshake and eye contact and annunciate properly, it is going to give you two things:
- Show respect
- Project confidence
And if you can project confidence then you are well on your way to having a successful interaction with that customer!
